Merchandise and a Contest! Win a ticket to Thotcon!

The link to the Merchandise page is back! For now we’d like to sell our stock of t-shirts from Shmoocon. After those are all gone we are going to work on getting some other kinds of schwag, stuff that you guys will love!

If you’d like to attend Thotcon but don’t have a ticket, we have one to give away! Keep in mind that Thotcon is on April 23rd in Chicago.

Starting now and running until 6PM Eastern on Friday, April 16th anyone who leaves us feedback via iTunes, comments on a blog post will be entered into a drawing. The names will be put onto a spreadsheet in no particular order, and then sorted in reverse. Each name will then have a number in front of it, and we will use random.org in order to randomly select the winner.

You must use the iTunes client to leave feedback in iTunes. If you leave a comment on a blog posting it must not be spam, and it must make some sort of sense, submissions that just go “Hi” or “asdfjkl;” will be disregarded.

SecuraBit slogan contest.

Congratulations to adham on winning our contest. We chose his submission of SecuraBit before it Bytes as our slogan. We’ll be getting ahold of you to get your mailing information and sending you a Yubikey.

Episode 4 has been recorded, although we’re working out some more audio issues. Expect it to be available in the next few days.

Forums, IRC, and Slogan contest update

I’ve purchased the forum software and will be getting it up and running tonight. We’re also going to start promoting the IRC channel. Look for the link to show up on the right tonight for the forums, we’d love to get a good community going.

Slogan for the SecuraBit show contest!

So we were all sitting around talking last night trying to come up with a catchy slogan for our show and decided that since it’s a show for all of you, we’d like to get some feedback from the listeners as to what our slogan should be. From there we’re going to generate some pretty cool schwag. So that being said, whoever comes up with the slogan that we will use to promote the show will get a Yubikey which we covered on Episode 1 and from what I hear from Chris it’s a pretty useful authentication tool. So brainstorm and leave us your feedback and we’ll announce the winner come Episode 3 depending on the amount of feedback we receive.
